An insight into the personnel plans of Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti for the club’s next outing has on Monday been provided.

Real, of course, are fresh off making it a trio of successive La Liga victories this past weekend.

After welcoming Getafe to Spain’s capital, goals on the part of Jude Bellingham and Kylian Mbappé proved enough to guide Los Blancos to the right side of a 2-0 result.

With a whole host of key members of the club’s squad remaining on the sidelines through injury, it should in turn come as little surprise to hear of the plans of those at Valdebebas to keep the base of their XI intact next time out.

The La Liga champions are primed to return to action on Wednesday night, when they make the trip to the Basque Country for a tricky meeting with Athletic Club.

And, according to Marca, nine of Real’s XI from their victory over Getafe will feature from the off once more at San Mamés.

The only changes will come at left-back and in midfield, where Fran García and Dani Ceballos are expected to be replaced by Ferland Mendy and Luka Modrić:
