MIAMI – The 2025 Concacaf Boys’ U-15 Championship begins on August 2, with the fifth edition of the competition featuring a record 38 Concacaf Member Associations, as well as one guest participant.

What

The 2025 Concacaf Boys’ U-15 Championship is the fifth edition of the Concacaf national team development competition.

Who

The 2025 Concacaf Boys’ U-15 Championship will feature a record 38 Concacaf Member Associations, as well as one guest nation, for a total 39 participants.

All Member Associations affiliated to Concacaf are invited to participate. Concacaf reserves the right to invite guest participants from other Confederations.

As part of Concacaf’s memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and partnership with the Saudi Arabian Football Association (SAFF), the SAFF’s U-15 national team will participate in this year’s tournament.

When

The 2025 Concacaf Boys’ U-15 Championship will take place from August 2 to 10.

The following are the dates for each stage:

·      Group stage: August 2 to 7

·      Knockout Stage: August 8 and 9.

·      Finals: August 9 (Leagues B and C) and 10 (League A)

Where

The 2025 Concacaf Boys’ U-15 Championship matches will be split between three host countries:

·      Costa Rica – League A

·      Aruba – League B

·      Curaçao – League C

Format

The 2025 Concacaf Boys’ Under-15 Chamapionship will be played in format dividing the 39 participating teams into three leagues (League A, League B and League C) based on their Concacaf Men’s U-17 Ranking as of February 20 2025.

The matches in the Group Stage shall be played in a round robin format, each team playing one match against each of the other teams in the same group.

League A: 8 highest-ranked national teams and the guest team Group A: Mexico, Panama, Honduras, El Salvador, NicaraguaGroup B: United States, Canada, Costa Rica, Saudi Arabia

The top two teams from Groups A and B will advance to the League A Semifinals. The remaining teams in the group will have one additional match to determine their final position in the competition.

League B: 16 next best-ranked national teams Group C: Puerto Rico, Cuba, Guyana, Cayman IslandsGroup D: Jamaica, Curaçao, Aruba, BelizeGroup E: Bermuda, Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, Antigua and BarbudaGroup F: Dominican Republic, Guatemala, British Virgin Islands, Saint Kitts and Nevis

History

The Concacaf Boys’ U-15 Championship was most recently held in 2023, with League A and C matches played in the Dominican Republic and League B hosted by Curaçao. In League A, the United States secured the title with a 4-2 win over Mexico in the final. Nicaragua captured the League B crown with a narrow 2-1 victory over Saint Lucia, while Saint Martin triumphed in League C, defeating Saint Vincent and the Grenadines 4-1 in the final.
