Miami, FL – The 2026 Concacaf Champions Cup, the 61st edition of the region’s premier men’s club competition, is set to continue with the Quarterfinals kicking off tomorrow, Tuesday, April 7.
Participating Clubs: Liga MX vs. MLS Matchups
The Quarterfinals will feature the eight clubs that advanced from the Round of 16, with all four matchups pitting Liga MX clubs against MLS opposition.
The Round of 16 winners, who advanced following two-leg series played across two weeks in March, are Club América (MEX), Cruz Azul (MEX), Deportivo Toluca FC (MEX), LA Galaxy (USA), Los Angeles FC (USA), Nashville SC (USA), Seattle Sounders FC (USA), and Tigres UANL (MEX).

Competition Format
The Quarterfinals will be played as four home-and-away series, with the aggregate score across both legs determining which clubs advance to the Semifinals. The four winners will move on to the Semifinals, which will also be contested over two legs.
The competition will conclude with the Final on May 30, 2026, which will be played as a single-leg match to crown the region’s champion. Pathway to Global Competition
While the remaining teams will be vying for the title of regional club champion, they will also be competing for a chance to play on a global stage. The winner of the 2026 Concacaf Champions Cup will secure qualification for the next edition of the FIFA Club World Cup in 2029, as well as the 2026 FIFA Intercontinental Cup. The FIFA Club World Cup berth represents one of four slots allocated to Concacaf, with 2025 Concacaf Champions Cup winners Cruz Azul already occupying one of those positions.
