It looks like Chelsea attacker Christopher Nkunku could be on his way to AC Milan on a permanent transfer before Monday.
Monday is the transfer deadline day for the summer window of course, and Chelsea have a lot that they want to get done and are working on before we see that day out.
The two main situations are moving attackers Nkunku and Nicolas Jackson on, and there has been some developments on both of them yesterday – pretty big developments actually.
It’s been reported that Bayern Munich are close to signing Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson on some sort of loan deal in a move that seemingly accelerated yesterday.
Chelsea are waiting to see what happens in the Alexander Isak to Liverpool transfer saga before sanctioning a Jackson to Bayern loan move, just in case an opportunity to sell him instead of loan him comes up – obviously Newcastle would then need to sign a new striker.
And then we have the Nkunku situation and surprisingly, it looks like we could get a permanent sale for him.

A late transfer move by AC Milan to sign Nkunku is now underway, and it looks like it has advanced a lot last night.
Transfer reporter Fabrizio Romano has put the latest info out on his YouTube channel last night, and he says on the details around the Nkunku to Milan deal:
“Chelsea’s starting request to AC Milan was around £34.5m plus add ons. Milan want to offer something around £25.8m plus add ons. It is a very concrete negotiation ongoing.”
Romano goes on to confirm:
“Milan are very confident they can find an agreement with Chelsea.”
