There’s the Carabao Cup final, Madrid Derby and a Tyne-Wear blockbuster in our top games to watch this weekend.
The Championship promotion race looks set to go down to the wire and there’s a potentially decisive clash at Portman Road on Saturday lunchtime.
Third hosts fourth, with the two teams level on points in the table. The winners could climb above Middlesbrough and into the automatic promotion places, while the losers will suffer a damaging blow to their hopes of finishing in the top two.

Dutch football’s De Klassieker returns to the calendar this weekend as rivalries resume in Rotterdam.

Eddie Howe will demand a huge response from Newcastle, after a seven-goal thumping at Barcelona in midweek.

Madrid will pause this weekend when Real and Atletico go head-to-head in La Liga. It’s a massive game for the home side, who trail Barcelona by four points in the title race and can ill-afford another slip.
Both teams progressed into the Champions League quarter-finals in midweek, and Atletico will be keen to end their arch-rival’s title hopes at the Bernabeu. It’s a derby dust-up with plenty on the line.

The first silverware of the season is on the line as Arsenal meet Manchester City in the Carabao Cup final.
Arsenal’s pursuit of an unprecedented quadruple remains alive and the first leg of a historic four-peat could be achieved at Wembley this weekend. The Gunners have the chance to end a six-year trophy drought against a familiar foe, as Pep Guardiola’s City side stand in their path.
