Chelsea’s rumoured interest in Koln winger Said El Mala continues to be all over rumour website. CaughtOffside today have an exclusive where they have quotes from sources at the club.

The 19 year old is having a great season and has attracted the attention of Mn U as well as Chelsea and other top European sides. His club are going to want around €50m or €60m for him.

Koln prepared to sanction big sale as clubs circle top talent

“They know there’s little prospect of him staying, and with so much interest they stand to make what they’ll see as a very good sale,” one source close to the situation told Mark Brus.

“Scouts from all the big clubs have given him rave reviews, there’s a real buzz about him in the industry. Don’t rule out some clubs waiting until next summer, though, as he’s still a raw talent and not everyone will be keen on that asking price.”

Chelsea will likely have to move a winger on before bringing another one in, and it’s hard to see who that might be right now, given three were signed last summer and another arrives this year.
