Alexander Nübel is one of the players expected to leave FC Bayern this summer. His loan to VfB Stuttgart is coming to an end, and the Swabians do not want to sign him permanently. Now, however, a new suitor has emerged. 

Interest from Besiktas has already flared up in recent days. The top Turkish club would like to sign Nübel and is also in a position to pay him a competitive salary.

However, the FC Bayern goalkeeper—who is currently with the German national team at the 2026 World Cup in North America—is not prioritizing a move to the Süper Lig at the moment and is waiting for other options.

It now appears that such an option has emerged in England.

Nübel on the radar of a Premier League newcomer

According to a report in the Daily Mail , Hull City is said to have a strong interest in Nübel alongside Besiktas. The newly promoted Premier League club is currently looking for a suitable option for the goalkeeper position and has contacted several potential targets to inquire about the exact chances of a transfer.

In Nübel’s case, however, they were given the cold shoulder relatively quickly. A transfer to Hull City is reportedly not on the table at the moment, partly because the goalkeeper is waiting for a better option. Nübel’s goal is said to be playing in European competition again next season.

It’s unclear whether that’s actually a condition. A move to a newly promoted team, whose roster is currently undergoing significant changes, would certainly involve a mix of risk and uncertainty. That’s why it seems reasonable to wait and see for now.

In any case, FC Bayern is no longer counting on Nübel and is hoping for a transfer fee in the tens of millions. A suitor from the Premier League would therefore represent an opportunity for the record champions to earn millions. If it were up to the Munich club’s management, the goalkeeper’s sale couldn’t happen soon enough.
