A source close to Chelsea has reportedly heard the plan for winger Mykhailo Mudryk to return to football after his ban.

There is still no indication of when Mudryk will return to playing again yet or how long any band actually is. In fact, we’ve had nothing official or even non-official reported on this at all really after the winger tested positive for having banned substances in his system and subsequently being banned from playing the game for some time.

Mudryk will be eager to get back playing as soon as possible, but will that be back at Chelsea or elsewhere?

Apparently, it could actually be at Chelsea’s sister club, Strasbourg, over in Ligue 1 in France. At least that is according to one source close to Chelsea.

What next for Mudryk?

In information picked up by ChelsTransfer on X, A source close to Chelsea has told Foot Mercato in France:

“There is a possibility that Mykhailo Mudryk will go to Strasbourg. He would surely have the humility to accept this challenge after almost 2 years without playing, if he is offered a loan.”

It might be a smart move for Mudryk to do this to be honest, it will be a good low pressure way of him just playing football again.

Liam Rosenior has summed up Chelsea’s issues after yet another defeat on the pitch at the weekend by saying they could be contained in two main “aspects.”

In a situation that has caused a lot of drama and debate, the manager also got side-tracked talking about the ridiculous pre-match huddle situation.
