‘A year like Güler’ – Endrick ‘not yet in the plans’ of Real Madrid boss Ancelotti | OneFootball

An insight into the status of Real Madrid youngster Endrick in the club’s first-team setup at present has on Thursday been provided.

And the news may come as something of a source of disappointment for those of a Blancos persuasion…

This comes amid confirmation that, as of yet, Endrick has not managed to win over the trust of head coach Carlo Ancelotti.

The 18-year-old is considered as very raw, still coming to terms with the jump in quality from Brazilian to top-level European football.

As per a report from Relevo:

‘Endrick is not yet part of Ancelotti’s plans and the club is talking about his adaptation, which will not be easy.’

The consensus is that the talented young frontman requires development on all of a ‘physical, technical and tactical level’ before he will be considered a regular contributor in Spain’s capital.

Endrick’s prospects can therefore be likened to those of teammate Arda Güler, who was subjected to an altogether trying debut campaign at Real Madrid last time out, too.
