Abdukodir Khusanov has given a signed shirt to the cameraman he collided with during Uzbekistan’s defeat to Colombia at the World Cup on Wednesday, the Uzbekistan federation said.
After a duel with Luis Diaz, the 22-year-old crashed into a camera operator positioned close to the pitch, prompting medical staff to intervene. Six minutes later, Colombia went ahead through Daniel Munoz, set up by Diaz.

The Manchester City defender signed the shirt with an apology. He also sent sincere wishes for a swift recovery and his greetings to the operator. The gift was delivered to the injured cameraman.
The message on the shirt read “Je suis désolé”.
The match finished 1-3.
