Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus is attracting interest from AC Milan, according to Milan Live.
The Gunners are willing to let him leave on loan, with an option to buy for a total fee of around €30 million, which becomes mandatory upon reaching pre-determined objectives.
Jesus wants to play for Brazil at the 2026 World Cup, which will not happen if he stays with Arsenal.
He will struggle to take the starting berth from summer signing Viktor Gyokeres following his summer switch to the Emirates Stadium.
A move to Italy could appeal to the Arsenal forward, allowing him impress Brazil manager Carlo Ancelotti.
Milan’s first-choice centre-forward, Santi Gimenez, recently picked up an injury and could be out for several weeks. A move for Jesus makes sense.
Even when the Mexican was fit, his numbers have been disappointing, and the 19-time Serie A champions needed more firepower. However, they are not alone in the race.
Juventus, Bournemouth, Fulham and West Ham United are also showing interest in Jesus.
Serie A could be the perfect fit for Jesus, who has been praised for being a ‘decisive’ attacker, to rediscover his sharpness and confidence.
The league’s tactical rhythm, technical emphasis and slower pace compared to the Premier League would suit his intelligent movement, link-up play and work ethic.
Milan feels like the ideal stage. Jesus could immediately take centre stage in the attack.
The Rossoneri’s attacking set-up could help him rediscover his scoring touch and allow him to earn a slot in Brazil’s World Cup squad.
