But off the pitch, according to Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, Inter are winning the Milan derby in every single category.

Since the 2020/21 season, the two clubs have met 20 times across all competitions.

In Serie A points alone, the gap is stark, 489 to 430, a difference of nearly 60 points in Inter’s favour.

The trophy count tells an even more emphatic story.

Inter have won six major honours in the past five years, two league titles, two Coppa Italia and two Supercoppa, against Milan’s two.

And the financial picture is equally one-sided. Inter’s transfer balance over the period sits at almost +€30 million, reflecting smart and disciplined recruitment.

Milan, by contrast, have recorded a net spend of -€263.87 million without the silverware to justify it.

The squad valuations complete the picture. Inter’s current roster cost significantly less to assemble, around €100 million less than Milan’s, yet carries a market value of nearly €670 million, compared to just under €500 million for their rivals.

Inter have simply made better decisions, and the numbers prove it.
