Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly on the verge of finalising the signing of young Italian goalkeeper Alessandro Longoni (18), according to L’Équipe.

A member of AC Milan’s reserve team and an Italian Under-19 international (three caps), the Como-born player is expected to pen his first professional contract with the reigning double European champions in the near future. Whilst he is initially expected to join PSG’s Espoirs squad, created to ease the transition between the youth teams and the first team, Longoni could soon be training with Luis Enrique’s men.

Having made 17 appearances for the Primavera and Milan Futuro this season, Longoni has kept a total of five clean sheets, conceding 18 goals.
