Monaco beat Nantes 3-1 as Simon Adingra struck twice in three minutes and captain Denis Zakaria added a third.
L'Équipe notes that the winter signing was deployed higher than in recent outings, having previously filled in at left wing-back. He went close on 18 minutes before converting on 25 and 28.
Zakaria, restored to midfield, made it 3-0 on 30 after Ali Yousuf’s stray pass, the defender also failing to get tight for the second. Deiver Machado lost the ball in the build-up to Monaco’s second but he supplied the assist for the reply at 45+1. Abakar Sylla, at fault for the opener, was withdrawn at half-time for Nicolas Cozza.
Alexandre Golovine had earlier provided two assists for the second and third. He was then sent off on 65 after angrily contesting an unseen Awaziem handball and mocking referee M. Wattellier.
Rémy Cabella could not influence proceedings and made way for Ignatius Ganago on 66. Zakaria later went off for Teze on 76, the substitute booked on 82, and Yousuf was withdrawn on 78. On the right, Vanderson impressed and dominated his flank.
Nantes did not capitalise on the extra man. Monaco steadied themselves before facing PSG in the Champions League.
