Ajax have reached an agreement with Liverpool and Vitezslav Jaros. The 23-year-old goalkeeper joins on loan from the English club for the 2025-26 season.
The 2001-born Jaros started his career with Slavia Prague before moving to Liverpool’s youth academy in 2017. In the years since, he has been loaned out to various clubs, most recently to Sturm Graz in Austria. There, he won the double in 2024. This past season, the international debuted for Liverpool’s first team, with whom he won the English league title.
Technical director Alex Kroes: “We’re very pleased to have brought Vitezslav to Amsterdam. Despite his young age, he has already gained valuable experience and played a full part as a back-up goalkeeper with the English champions. His ability to play out from the back is of a very high level, he is athletic, reads space well, and provides calmness to the defence. His arrival definitely gives our squad a boost in quality.”
