Al-Hilal push for another attacking signing after Crysencio Summerville deal | OneFootball

Al-Hilal are pressing ahead with plans for another frontline addition despite sealing one of the summer’s standout transfers, aiming to compete for every domestic and continental honour next season.

The club have signed Dutch winger Crysencio Summerville from West Ham United on a four-season contract. The fee topped 70 million euros, one of the most expensive in Saudi Roshn League history. According to Goal.com, they still want another heavyweight attacker, with Bayern Munich’s Colombian winger Luis Diaz considered the dream option and placed at the top of their list.

The preferred profile is a wide player who brings greater power and pace, aligning with the new project under Italian coach Simone Inzaghi.

The Saudi side also opened talks with English striker Harry Kane in recent weeks amid his contract renewal discussions, but that pursuit collapsed when the player insisted on remaining in Europe.

Prising Diaz away would be a major challenge given his importance to Bayern Munich. Even so, Al-Hilal’s recent record of striking eye-catching deals means another market surprise cannot be ruled out.
