Alamara Djabi stable after Denmark stabbing as Midtjylland offer support

Alamara Djabi, a former Benfica youth player, was stabbed in Denmark.

Midtjylland said in a statement that he had been in a life-threatening condition, underwent urgent surgery then a second operation, and is now stable after waking from an induced coma.

Midtjylland are supporting him and his family, and are cooperating with the authorities. Team-mates and staff have been left deeply affected, and the club has asked for privacy.
