Alex Sandro ruled out of Brazil squad, Cruzeiro's Kaiki called up

Alex Sandro of Flamengo has been withdrawn from the Brazil squad after a thigh injury in the draw with Corinthians, with Cruzeiro left-back Kaiki called up to replace him. According to Globo.com, tests confirmed the injury.
The national team assembled on Sunday in Orlando, United States, ahead of friendlies against France on Thursday and Croatia on 31.
Kaiki featured in the 0-0 draw with Santos at Mineirão, and is due to travel on Monday. Goalkeeper Hugo Souza of Corinthians, summoned to replace the injured Alisson, and Flamengo's Danilo will also make the trip on Monday.
Flamengo defender Léo Pereira brought forward his journey as he was suspended this round. Alex Sandro will return to Rio de Janeiro with Flamengo and spend the international break undergoing treatment.
The club have not disclosed the severity, but Fernando Sassaki, head of Flamengo’s medical department, said the full-back reported mild pain, so there is hope he will not be sidelined for long. Flamengo's next match is on 2 April, away to Bragantino.
