Monaco head to Strasbourg on Sunday at 21:00 for the 34th and final round with a trimmed 21-man squad, as Alexandre Golovine and Paul Pogba are ruled out, and Oumar Konaté receives a first call-up.

According to L'Équipe, Golovine has fractured a finger on his right hand, Pogba is carrying a dead leg, and Eric Dier also misses out after a knock to his left ankle.

With European qualification on the line, Monaco again travel short-handed, a theme of their season. The trio join a lengthy absentee list that includes Caio Henrique, Vanderson and Kassoum Ouattara, as well as long-term injuries Mohammed Salisu and Takumi Minamino.

Out of contract, Krépin Diatta has not been selected and will not play for Monaco again. Stanis Idumbo, who is undergoing treatment, will not make the trip either.

Ivorian forward Oumar Konaté, 19, steps into the senior group for the first time after impressing in training. He offers Sébastien Pocognoli another attacking option alongside Paris Brunner, now back from a long hamstring lay-off.

Pogba’s most recent appearance came at Metz two weeks ago.
