Nottingham Forest will learn their 2026/27 Premier League schedule at 10am on Friday, June 19. According to Nottingham Post, supporters can start planning as key dates land for the campaign.
Forest face newly promoted Coventry City, Ipswich Town and Hull City, along with familiar opponents such as Liverpool and Leeds United. The season is set to begin on the weekend of August 22, following this year's World Cup and a mandatory 33-day break after the final.
A revamped calendar brings an extended international window from September 26 to October 10, when nations can play up to four matches. The separate mid-October break is effectively removed, with a standard window still scheduled in November.
Across Christmas, no two matches will kick off within 60 hours, a move designed to aid player welfare. The season is due to conclude on Sunday, May 30, 2027.
This will be Forest's fifth straight year in the top flight after head coach Vitor Pereira guided them away from relegation trouble last season. The aim for 2026/27 is to push further up the table rather than scrap for survival. Having reached the Europa League semi-finals, the club want to return to Europe, and Pereira believes the squad offers a solid base to build on with the right summer signings.
The summer transfer window opened on Monday, June 15, and will close at 11pm on Tuesday, September 1. Activity in and out is expected as Pereira's squad is refined.
