Allianz Parque's synthetic pitch replacement has accelerated after the Bad Bunny shows were dismantled, with Soccer Grass working to have the ground ready for a potential Paulista final.

According to Globo.com, the company has completed the Shock Pad, the field's cushioning layer, and has 95% of the new turf installed after drafting in 15 trained technicians over the past two days. Palmeiras play São Paulo in a single-leg semi at Arena Crefisa Barueri on Sunday at 20:30 Brasília time, with finals scheduled for 4 and 8 March.

In normal circumstances the job would take 10 to 15 days, but progress ahead of schedule has created a target of delivering the surface by the first weekend of March.

If rain does not disrupt work, Soccer Grass are still trying to finish this week, undergo Fifa assessment, and make the stadium available for a possible 8 March decider.

From Thursday the team will complete the remaining gluing, postponed on Wednesday because of rain, then begin adding the infill of cork and sand. Field markings and the goalposts will follow.

No further concerts are booked in the meantime. The next shows are set for 13 and 14 March with Luan Santana, then 28 March with Gilberto Gil.
