Key contract details have come to light regarding Altay Bayindir’s move to Celta Vigo from Manchester United.

Earlier today, Fabrizio Romano confirmed that there is an agreement in place for Bayindir to complete a loan switch to Celta Vigo, where he will spend at least one season.

Bayindir’s future at United became increasingly uncertain after the signing of Karl Darlow as a free agent from Leeds United and highly-rated youngster Kit Margetson from Swansea.

At the start of last season, Ruben Amorim handed Bayindir a run of starts but he failed to justify his selection, regularly making mistakes that cost United. United dipped into the market for Senne Lammens, who has been a revelation since his arrival from Royal Antwerp.

Romano indicated that Bayindir has been granted permission to head to Spain for his Celta Vigo medical.

It’s understood that Celta Vigo retain the option of making his stay permanent for €4m. Now, Sky Sports have provided further details.

Contract details

According to Danyal Khan, United will no longer contribute to Bayindir’s wages. The Red Devils have also inserted a sell-on clause that will enable them to benefit from any future sale of the shot-stopper.

Bayindir is set to be followed through the exit door by another goalkeeper in Radek Vitek, who is on the brink of signing for Middlesbrough.

However, Vitek is completing a permanent switch to Boro.
