Amadou Ba-Sy set to join Heart of Midlothian from Rouen

FC Rouen striker Amadou Ba-Sy is set to join Heart of Midlothian, with a deal now being finalised after he scored six goals in National this season. According to L'Équipe, the clubs have reached an agreement.

Rouen finished third in National and lost to Laval in the promotion play-offs to Ligue 2. The Normandy club expect a lively summer with several players attracting strong interest.

Heart of Midlothian ended last season second in the Scottish Premiership, spending long spells in the title race against Celtic.

Ba-Sy added four assists in 29 matches. He arrived at Rouen last summer from Vizela in Portugal’s second tier, after a loan at Académica de Coimbra in the third.

Born in Nice, Ba-Sy is 24.
