América reported to Coapa on Thursday for medical and physical tests, with pre-season set to start on Friday ahead of the Clausura 2026. Squad assessment is under way and early departures appear close.

TUDN reports that Víctor Dávila and Igor Lichnovsky will be the first to leave, as they are not in the coaching staff’s plans for the first half of 2026.

The intention is to to free slots for players not formed in Mexico, allowing the club to recruit the reinforcements requested by André Jardine. América currently have 10 foreigners, while the limit is nine.

Javairo Dilrosun remains part of the squad, but whatever happens he will be leaving Las Águilas, which will leave two foreign spots available.

As for arrivals, there has been plenty of speculation, yet nothing is concrete. Outgoings need to be confirmed before any signings can be made.

Further news is expected from next week.
