André Carrillo completed his first 90 minutes for Corinthians in nearly seven months, playing the entirety of the 1-1 draw at Cruzeiro on Wednesday in the Campeonato Brasileiro. According to Meu Timao, it was his first such outing since last July.

The previous occasion he lasted from first whistle to last was on 26 July, a 1-1 draw with Botafogo at Nilton Santos in the 17th round of the 2025 Brasileirão.

Since then he has made 23 appearances. The Peruvian’s biggest minutes haul came in the season opener, 73 against Red Bull Bragantino, in a 3-0 win over Ponte Preta at Neo Química Arena.

Now 34, the oldest player in the current squad, Carrillo underwent surgery in August last year after a ligament injury to his left ankle. He missed almost three months and returned in late October.

In 2026 he has featured nine times, starting seven. He was an unused substitute on three occasions, against Velo Clube, São Bernardo and Portuguesa. His minutes this year total 537.

The result at Mineirão leaves Corinthians on seven points in the Brasileiro, third in the standings. They visit Novorizontino on Saturday at 20:30 at Jorge Ismael de Biasi in a one-off Campeonato Paulista semi-final.
