André Onana set for another loan move to Trabzonspor

André Onana is expected to return to Trabzonspor for the upcoming 2026/27 campaign.

The 30-year-old joined the Turkish side from Manchester United after an error-filled first two seasons with the club and went on to feature 33 times for the Bordo-Mavillier.

With Senne Lammens firmly underlining his place as the number one goalkeeper at Old Trafford and a new backup rumoured to arrive this summer, Onana was never likely to force his way back into United's plans.

Now various reports suggest that United and Trabzonspor are close to agreeing a fresh loan move but it is not expected to have a buy option included.

Onana's contract with United doesn't expire until the end of the 2027/28 season so the club will most likely try to off-load the player permanently next summer.
