Paris Saint-Germain won 3-0 at Angers, Lucas Beraldo excelling as a holding midfielder with a goal and an assist. According to L'Équipe, he was the standout, while Gonçalo Ramos struggled and was later sent off.
PSG led in the seventh minute, Beraldo releasing Achraf Hakimi to cross for Lee Kang-in to finish from close range. Amine Sbaï had a strike ruled out at 22 minutes. Senny Mayulu doubled the lead on 39, set up by Beraldo.
After the interval Hakimi departed on 46, Mayulu switching to right-back. Lucas Hernandez was withdrawn at half-time, Warren Zaïre-Emery coming on to play left-back until Nuno Mendes entered on 72.
Beraldo made it three on 52, heading in Lee’s corner, a reward for an authoritative display on the ball.
Ramos was close to dismissal after a heavy challenge on Bamba on 10 minutes, then saw red on 74 for a reckless contact with Hervé Koffi. His impact in open play was minimal.
Koffi conceded three yet impressed again, tipping away free-kicks from Hakimi and Mendes on 28 and 72, and saving from Ramos and Mbaye on 62 and 84. He had been a doubt earlier in the day and has been pivotal in SCO’s probable survival.
Sbaï’s decision-making faltered despite his disallowed finish and a useful cross for Peter on 60. Emmanuel Biumla toiled against Paris’s speed. Branco Van den Boomen added drive and leadership, though he could not curb PSG’s control, and his winter signing still looks a success.
