Like many of Arsenal’s other internationals, Leandro Trossard missed his country’s first friendly of the ongoing international break as a result of his participation in the Champions League final last weekend, but he returned to the team on Saturday for a game against Tunisia.
Trossard ended up giving Belgium the lead in the 28th minute, turning home from close range with a one-touch finish after a mazy run by Jeremy Doku. The winger is one of three Arsenal forwards to open the scoring for his country in recent days, with Kai Havertz and Viktor Gyokeres doing the same.
The Arsenal man had a couple of other shots on target in the first 74 minutes of the game, before he was substituted with Belgium 3-0 up and Tunisia down to 10 men.

Belgium pressed home their advantage in the final minutes and ended up 5-0 victors, with the highlights available here.
Belgium are now on a 13-game unbeaten run, between UEFA Nations League matches, international friendlies, and World Cup qualifiers. They’ll hope to keep that run going now that the World Cup itself is about to get underway.
Belgium face Egypt, Iran, and New Zealand in the group stage, playing Egypt on June 15th, Iran on June 21st, and New Zealand on June 27th. It’s certainly a group they’ll expect to progress from, particularly given their recent form.

Trossard remains an important player for Belgium, having appeared in all but one of their World Cup qualifiers.
The 31-year-old plays a number of different roles for his national team, operating on either wing and as a centre-forward. It’s likely he’ll be heavily involved once the actual tournament kicks off later this month.
