Botafogo are in a difficult spell on and off the pitch, and have kept coach Anselmi despite the 3-0 loss to Flamengo. He will miss the Palmeiras game on Wednesday 18 after receiving his third yellow card in the Brasileirão.
According to Coluna Do Fla, Anselmi repeatedly remonstrated with referee Anderson Daronco during that match and was cautioned.

The booking was his third of the league campaign, which carries an automatic one-match ban.
Flamengo coach Leonardo Jardim remains unbeaten. He has two league wins and is targeting a third on Thursday 19 against Remo.
Flamengo face Remo at 20:00 Brasília time at the Maracanã, with pay-per-view coverage on Premiere.
