Anthony Martial has left Monterrey after agreeing to terminate his contract, Fabrizio Romano reports, leaving the forward free to sign for any club.
Flamengo attempted to sign the ex-Manchester United striker in September 2024 after Pedro ruptured knee ligaments, but talks did not progress.

Martial instead joined Monterrey, where across two seasons he made 20 appearances.
In that time he scored one goal and registered three assists, averaging 39 minutes per appearance.
He broke through at Monaco under Leonardo Jardim in 2014, then moved to Manchester United, where he remained until 2024. He also had a loan at Sevilla, later joined AEK, then headed to Monterrey.
