Tolu Arokodare has not travelled with the Wolves squad for their week-long pre-season camp in Portugal. ExpressAndStar.com reports that the striker is attracting interest from across Europe.

Fiorentina are the latest club to have a loan bid rejected, with Wolves turning it down as the fee was deemed too small. The Italians would need to significantly raise their proposal to reach an agreement.

Talks between the clubs are ongoing and the 25-year-old was left at home as the rest of the squad travelled on Monday. Arokodare is expected to leave this summer, with a loan viewed as the most likely route.

Trabzonspor also saw a loan offer turned down last week and remain in contention, though Arokodare is understood to favour Italy over Türkiye. Fiorentina are expected to return with an improved bid, with other suitors also in talks.

The Nigeria international joined Wolves last summer in a deal worth up to £24 million, scoring three Premier League goals and six in all competitions from 38 appearances as the club were relegated.

He reported back to Compton for pre-season last week but looks closer to an exit after being omitted from the travelling group. Former head coach Rob Edwards was keen to move him on following a dressing-room altercation with Mateus Mane after the 4-0 defeat to West Ham, in which Arokodare was the sole aggressor. Under new boss Cesar Peixoto, he is now set to play no further part next season.
