Arsenal are on the verge of completing a move for Club Brugge star Christos Tzolis

According to The Athletic, the Gunners have agreed a €40 million deal for the 24-year-old.

Arsenal view Tzolis as a replacement for Leandro Trossard, who has recently joined Turkish club Besiktas.

The move won’t impact their pursuit of Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers.

Arsenal enquired about Juventus star Kenan Yildiz, but he is not for sale.

The Gunners identified Tzolis as a good fit, having been impressed by his pace, work rate and versatility across the frontline.

English supporters will be familiar with the Greece international, who spent three seasons at Norwich City.

He didn’t set the house on fire during his stint with the Canaries, scoring three goals in 30 appearances.

However, Tzolis has significantly enhanced his reputation since joining Brugge in 2024.

He has made 108 appearances for the Belgian outfit, bagging 43 goals and 45 assists.

Tzolis played an instrumental role in Brugge’s league title last season, recording 22 goals and 29 assists in 52 games.

The winger would be a solid squad player for Arsenal, but he could struggle for game time if they sign Rogers in this transfer window
