According to Turkish-Football.com, Arsenal are in advanced talks with Galatasaray over a formal club partnership that could reshape transfer planning for both clubs. Recent meetings in Istanbul made the idea a key agenda item. Arsenal sporting director Andrea Berta was pictured at RAMS Park with Galatasaray president Dursun Özbek.
While interest in Victor Osimhen grabbed attention, discussions were said to extend to a broader long-term alliance.
The proposal would likely centre on youth development and a shared scouting network, giving Arsenal a foothold in Türkiye. Pathways for academy loans to a Champions League environment in Istanbul are among the ideas.
Options such as first-refusal clauses on Galatasaray’s emerging talents have been floated, keeping Mikel Arteta’s side close to the next wave of Turkish prospects. The region has recently produced standouts including Arda Güler and Ferdi Kadıoğlu.
Talks are also expected to cover data analytics, coaching exchanges and commercial opportunities in Middle Eastern and Central Asian markets. Any agreement would align with a wider European trend, seen at City Football Group and Red Bull’s network, of securing global talent through multi-club links.
If finalised, a partnership would mark a notable shift in how Arsenal manage their global reach, with an emphasis on building a sustainable pathway to top young talent before prices spike.
