In a recent report, Fichajes revealed that Arsenal are planning to launch a move for Eintracht Frankfurt full-back Nathaniel Brown this summer. It has been stated that the Gunners will have to compete with Bayern Munich in the race to land the German defender in this transfer period.

Brown’s Impressive Season In German Football

Brown enjoyed a solid campaign in the Bundesliga as he produced a run of impressive performances on the left side of Frankfurt’s defence. The German talent found the back of the net four times and secured six assists in 42 matches for the German club last season across all competitions.

The 22-year-old is currently among the best left-backs in the Bundesliga. Therefore, the Gunners would do well to get a deal over the line for him later this year.

His current deal at the German club will run out in the summer of 2030, so Arsenal would have to make a convincing offer if they want to recruit Brown this off-season.

Will Brown Be A Good Choice For Arsenal Boss Mikel Arteta?

Brown is a solid tackler of the ball and can time his challenges well to secure the ball back for his team inside his half. He doesn’t mind putting his foot through the ball when needed and is a decent dribbler as well.

The German sensation can strike the ball well from long range and is a decent crosser from the left flank. Brown is primarily a left-back but can also fill in as a left-sided wide player if asked to do so by his manager. However, only time will tell whether he can make a smooth transition to life in the Premier League if the Gunners manage to sign him this summer.

Brown will undoubtedly add more quality to Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta’s backline. He is good enough to challenge for a regular first-team spot at the North London club next season.

At 22, Brown has the potential to be a future star in English football, which makes him a great choice for the Gunners for the long term. He will even help Arsenal compete across all fronts in the future. Therefore, Arteta should try to go all out to snap Brown up in this summer transfer window.
