City host the Magpies tomorrow at the Etihad and Pep Guardiola's side hold a 2-0 lead from the first leg.

Can they go all the way?

FULL TIME: Arsenal 1-0 Chelsea (Arsenal win 4-2 on aggregate)

A cagey, scrappy game, but Arsenal get the job done and reach their first EFL Cup final since 2018 at Chelsea's expense.

GOOOAL ARSENAL!

After soaking up pressure for five minutes, Arsenal spring on the counter and Kai Havertz rounds Sanchez and passes into the net. Mikel Arteta's side are going to Wembley.

Chelsea try and probe their way into Arsenal's area but the ball is hoofed clear. The Gunners are sitting deep and holding on here..

Six minutes of injury time coming up as Fernandez lashes a shot well over the crossbar.

Decision made, no penalty for that one.

Arsenal burst forward at pace and Martinelli gets clipped inside the area by Trevoh Chalobah. The Gunners are appealing for a penalty and VAR are checking this one.

CHANCE CHELSEA

Wesley Fofana gets first contact on a Chelsea corner and flicks his effort just wide at the near post.

BIG CHANCE!

Wow! A huge opportunity for Arsenal to win it. Zubemendi floats a cross to Gabriel inside the six-yard box and the defender's goal-bound header is cleared off the line.

Changes for the Gunners. Kai Havertz joins the action in place of Viktor Gyökeres. Leandro Trossard also comes on for Madueke.

Malo Gusto nicks the ball past Hincapie and tumbles to the ground. He's shown a yellow card for simulation.

Enzo Fernandez has a similar attempt from 20 yards and drills his strike over the bar.

Marc Cucurella controls on the edge of the area and tries to pick out the top corner with a swerving strike. It sails just over the crossbar.

Liam Rosenior makes a couple of changes. Jorrel Hato and Liam Delap come off. Cole Palmer and Estevao come on.

Madueke dribbles in from the right flank once again and chips a shot straight into Sanchez's arms.

A more lively start to the second hald and Madueke does a trademark cut in and cross, but the delivery has a bit too much on it and bounces out of harm's way.

POSSIBLE PENALTY

Joao Pedro and William Saliba wrestle each other to the floor and VAR are having a look...No penalty given.

Joao Pedro swipes at the ball from a long way out and scuffs wide.

SECOND HALF

The action gets back underway at the Emirates.

HALF TIME: Arsenal 0-0 Chelsea

A pretty cagey half so far, which will suit Arsenal, who still hold a 3-2 aggregate lead.

CHANCE CHELSEA

Enzo Fernandez is left with plenty of space to have a shot from 25-yards out. It's swerving all over the place but Kepa watches it all the way and parries to safety.

Martinelli gets past Malo Gusto and works half a yard in the area. Gusto gets back quickly to block the eventual shot from the Brazilian.

Chelsea apply a bit of pressure and Trevoh Chalobah snatches at a shot from distance. That one doesn't trouble Kepa at all.

Kepa Arrizabalaga sets Gabriel Martinelli away and in behind the Chelsea defence. The winger cuts back into a dangerous area but no Arsenal players can make contact and the chance fizzles out.

CHANCE ARSENAL

Hincapie lets fly from 20 yards out with a powerful curling effort and Robert Sanchez is alert to make a diving stop. Best chance in the first half.

Arsenal have their first sight at goal as Piero Hincapie gets up to header over from a corner.

Liam Delap seizes on William Saliba's poor first touch inside the area, but the Chelsea striker lashes his shot well wide of the near post. First opening of the game so far.

KICK OFF

The match is underway in North London.

A rare formation change for the Blues this evening?

Here's how the teams shape up for this evening's all-London clash.

Arsenal make three changes from their 4-0 win at Leeds. Chelsea make four alterations after a 3-2 comeback victory over West Ham.

Arsenal beat Chelsea 3-2 at Stamford Bridge in the semi-final first leg two weeks ago and the Gunners take their advantage back to the Emirates this evening.
