Arsenal are close to completing a move for Club Brugge star Christos Tzolis.
Manchester United have enquired about Tzolis, but the Gunners are close to finalising a £35 million deal.
The London giants view the talented forward as a replacement for Leandro Trossard, who is set to join Turkish side Besiktas for £17m after the World Cup in North America.
The move won’t impact their pursuit of Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers.
Football fans in England will be familiar with Tzolis from his time at Norwich City. The former PAOK star didn’t set the house on fire during his spell at Carrow Road.
He made 30 appearances across all competitions, bagging three goals and two assists.
The Greece international was sent on loan to Twente Enschede and Fortuna Dusseldorf, where he rediscovered his form.
Tzolis has significantly enhanced his reputation since joining Club Brugge in 2024. He had an excellent debut season and fared even better during his second year.
The left winger recorded 22 goals and 29 assists in 52 appearances across all competitions last season, helping his side win the Belgian league title.
Given his work rate, movement and clinical finishing, Tzolis would be an excellent acquisition for Arsenal.
