Arsenal have dismissed suggestions that captain Martin Ødegaard could join Galatasaray this summer.

According to Goal, any talk of the Norwegian leaving the Emirates has been branded “completely false”.

Speculation had grown after claims of an advanced agreement on personal terms and that his agent was seen in Istanbul to work on a €40 million deal.

The link was shut down, and assertions of agent meetings in Türkiye were also rejected, with Bjorn Kvarme instead supporting Ødegaard during international duties.

Ødegaard is understood to be happy in north London, and he remains central to Mikel Arteta’s plans, with no intention inside the club to part with their captain.
