Arsenal are one of the clubs keen on signing Borussia Dortmund winger Julian Brandt in the summer, according to Sky Sports Germany journalist Patrick Berger.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta will look to strengthen his attacking ranks at the Emirates Stadium club ahead of the next season, and the Gunners are monitoring the situation of the German.

Brandt will be a free agent in the summer, but the North London club are not the only ones interested in recruiting his services.

The 29-year-old, who is Kai Havertz’s best buddy, is also on the radar of Barcelona and more European bigwigs will be expected to join the race.

Brandt has been on the radar of Arsenal for a while, and it appears they are still keen on him.

The German’s versatility will come in handy under a manager like Arteta, and it could be one of the reasons they are attracted to him.

Brandt can play on both sides of the attack and through the middle, while he can also play as a central midfielder and behind the striker.

He has 56 goals and 69 assists in 298 appearances for Dortmund and could be a decent addition to the Arsenal attack as a free signing.

The former Bayer Leverkusen star has ten goals and three assists in 32 games so far this term and could be open to joining the Gunners ahead of next season.

The 48-cap Germany international has more than enough experience, and Arteta could do with such a figure in the dressing room.

Arsenal will be looking to win it all again next season after an incredible campaign so far in 2025-26, and they will need more quality depth in attack and across other positions.

Brandt could prove to be a valuable addition to the team, but pipping others to his services could be tricky given that he will be available for free.
