In a recent report, Fichajes mentioned that Arsenal have set their sights on Barcelona playmaker Dani Olmo. It has been claimed that the Gunners are eyeing a move to bring the Spain international to North London this summer.
Olmo enjoyed a good run of form at the Catalan club as he produced a series of impressive displays for them in the final third. The 28-year-old scored eight times and picked up ten assists in 49 matches for Barca last season across all competitions.
The Spanish talent is currently among the best playmakers in La Liga. Hence, it is no surprise that the Gunners are eyeing a move to secure his services this summer.
His current deal at the Nou Camp will run out in the summer of 2030, which could make it tough for Arsenal to sign him on the cheap later this year.

Olmo can shoot the ball with power from long range and has got the vision to engineer some decent chances for his teammates in the final third. He is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet and can contribute by scoring and creating his fair share of goals up top.
The Spain international is primarily an attacking midfielder but can also fill in as a left-sided wide player if asked to do so by his manager. However, it remains to be seen whether he can cope with the physicality and high intensity of the Premier League if the Gunners are to snap him up in this transfer window.
We can expect Olmo to bring more quality and depth to Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta’s frontline. He has what it takes to compete for a regular starting spot at the North London club next season.
At 28, Olmo is about to enter his prime, which makes him a decent signing for the Gunners to consider this off-season. However, Arteta has to give him some time to adjust to life in England before he can get the best out of the player. Still, Arsenal should focus on getting him on board before the end of this transfer window as he could help them challenge for even more trophies in the future.
