As initially reported by L’Équipe, Arsenal hold an interest in Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo (25), however, they may face some stiff competition from Premier League rivals.
Arsenal are in the market for a forward after tests revealed that Gabriel Jesus will miss the rest of the season after suffering an ACL injury over the weekend. However, having scored 13 goals in 21 games in the Premier League this season, he is garnering interest from other clubs towards the top of the table, according to RMC Sport.
Tottenham Hotspur, who recently missed out on the signing of Paris Saint-Germain’s, who has flown to Italy in order to complete a move to Juventus, are one of those clubs, as are Manchester United, who are looking to offload Marcus Rashford before becoming active in the transfer market.
Arsenal, Tottenham, and Manchester United are all interested, however, none of the aforementioned clubs is yet to submit an offer. Brentford will want over €50m for Mbeumo, RMC Sport understands.
