Arsenal’s summer signing made the difference as Gunners seal dominant north London derby victory
Eberechi Eze scored a hat-trick as Arsenal beat north London rivals Tottenham to go six points clear at the top of the Premier League.
Leandro Trossard opened the scoring and Eze also found the net before half time to put Arsenal two goals to the good.
Eze grabbed a second moments after the break, but Richarlison pulled one back with a stunning, long-range strike.
Arsenal, however, were not to be denied and Eze completed his hat-trick as the Gunners moved six points clear of Chelsea at the top of the Premier League.

David Raya 6
Beaten by a truly stunning goal from Richarlison. There may be some question marks over his positioning, but it was a remarkable hit.
Jurrien Timber 8
Pressed high up the pitch as Arsenal countered Tottenham’s back three, and was a real nuisance. Grabbed an assist for Eze’s second goal.
William Saliba 7
Will need to step up and lead the defence in the absence of Gabriel. This was a good start as Spurs’ attackers fed off scraps.
Piero Hincapie 8
Handed his first start in the Premier League due to Gabriel being out injured. Put in a strong performance and didn't put a foot wrong.

Riccardo Calafiori 7
Did not play for Italy over the international break, but was fit to start this derby. A steady showing, where he linked well with Trossard.
Eberechi Eze 10 | Star player
Quite simply, a dream afternoon for the midfielder and boyhood Arsenal fan. A hat-trick in his first ever north London derby. He is only the fourth player in history to achieve that feat.
Martin Zubimendi 7
Caught on the ball for Tottenham’s goal. That was his only real error and otherwise he controlled the midfield well.
Declan Rice 8
Denied a goal inside the first three minutes after a good save by Vicario. Set up the second and gave Arsenal’s midfield real drive.
Bukayo Saka 7
The quietest of Arsenal’s attackers - and it is not often you say that. Stung Vicario’s palms with a good free-kick in the first half, and a decent effort after the break.

Mikel Merino 8
Started as the No9 for the third game in a row, with Kai Havertz and Viktor Gyokeres still injured. Created the opening goal with a delightful, lofted pass.
Leandro Trossard 9
A hint of fortune about his goal, but he deserved it for a tireless performance. Caused Spurs plenty of problems and set up Eze’s third goal. One of his best games in an Arsenal shirt.
