After defeating Arsenal on penalties in the Champions League final, PSG could also beat the Gunners to one of their top transfer targets.

According to L’Equipe, the Parisians are ready to move for Bournemouth striker Eli Junior Kroupi. The 19-year-old Frenchman has garnered some top-level admirers after netting 13 times in his debut Premier League campaign.

It means Arsenal could miss out on their top two attacking targets, with a move for Julian Alvarez also growing increasingly complicated. Atletico Madrid have made clear their stance that the Argentina International is not for sale.

Meanwhile, Manchester United are readying a move for a Championship star. The Northern Echo report that Michael Carrick is keen on a reunion with former player and Middlesbrough talisman Hayden Hackney.

The Championship Player of the Season is expected to leave Boro this summer after their defeat in the play-off final. Tottenham Hotspur and Crystal Palace are also amongst those interested in the 23-year-old, who has just one year remaining on his contract.

Elsewhere, Chelsea could also target a star that is now set to be in the Championship. Xabi Alonso’s side are considering a deal for West Ham captain Jarrod Bowen, say The Independent. Following relegation, the 29-year-old could be available for less than £50 million.

The Blues are also preparing for their own departures this summer and left-back Marc Cucurella could be amongst them. The Athletic report that Atletico Madrid, Barcelona and Real Madrid are all interested in the Spaniard. The 27-year-old will be available if the ‘right price’ is met.
