Arsenal sign Bayern Munich midfielder Stanway

WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Gunners this morning.
The 27-year-old returns to England after spending the last four years playing her football in the German Google Pixel Frauen-Bundesliga with Bayern Munich. In her time in Germany, Stanway won four consecutive league titles, two German Cups and two German Super Cups. She made 128 appearances in all competitions for Bayern Munich, scoring 32 goals.
On the international stage, Stanway has enjoyed a hugely successful England career. She has won two UEFA Women’s EUROs, two Arnold Clark Cups, the Women’s Finalissima and the SheBelieves Cup with the Lionesses. The midfielder has been capped by her country on 89 occasions in which she has scored 33 goals. She also featured for Great Britain at the Olympic Games back in 2021.
After joining Arsenal, Stanway said “It’s an unbelievable feeling and I’m so proud to be joining Arsenal.
