Arsenal sign Illan Meslier on free after Leeds exit | OneFootball

Leeds United have made their first signing of the summer, bringing in Harry Wilson after his Fulham departure, as Premier League rivals complete early business.

According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Arsenal have signed Illan Meslier on a free after his Leeds exit and made Piero Hincapie’s £25m loan permanent. Jakub Kiwior has joined Porto and Karl Hein has moved to Werder Bremen on permanent deals, with Samuel Onyekachukwu among eight released.

Aston Villa have agreed a pre-contract for Modou Keba Cisse. Sil Swinkels and Louie Barry have joined Sheffield Wednesday, and Kadan Young has been loaned to Annecy. Brentford have signed Jannik Schuster for £17.2m, Jaidon Anthony from Burnley for £17m and Callum Wilson on a free.

Bournemouth have appointed Marco Rose as head coach. Marcos Senesi has left for Tottenham after his contract expired, with Luis Sinisterra to Cruizeiro on a permanent after a loan, plus exits for Romain Faivre, Michael Dacosta Gonzalez and Hamed Traore. Andoni Iraola has departed and is now Liverpool’s head coach.

Brighton have signed Pascal Struijk for £18m and Costinha for £11m, while Jan Paul van Hecke has joined Tottenham for £52m and James Milner is retiring. Chelsea have added Marco Palestra for £43m and Geovany Quenda for £40m, appointed Xabi Alonso as head coach, and sold Marc Cucurella to Real Madrid for £51.8m and Jimmy-Jay Morgan to West Brom for £4m.

New rivals Ipswich Town have signed a young Brazilian forward in a club-record £24m deal.
