Arsenal’s men’s team will wear the No More Red kit in their FA Cup third round tie against Manchester United as the club continues to campaign to help keep young people safe from knife crime and violence in north London.
The all-white kit, drained of any traces of the club’s famous red colour, will never be available to buy and will only ever be awarded to individuals who are making a positive difference in the community.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta said: “It’s great we have so many people putting so much effort for putting their lives to try to improve, to many people’s lives’ quality, creating safe spaces, safe environments.
“When you get an opportunity to raise that in such a big occasion we have to do it. Well done to the club well done to everybody who is part of it because they put so much into it and the impact is huge.”
Since the inception of No More Red in 2022, three pitches have been refurbished at Harvist Estate, Mayville Estate and King Square in Islington. A fourth pitch – on Peckwater Estate in Camden – is due for refurbishment and will open in 2025.
More than 1,450 hours of activity have been delivered across 670 sessions on the three pitches, with 500 participants in 2024 alone.
Since the launch of No More Red in 2022, 210 No More Red shirts have been awarded to people making a positive difference in their community.

And Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice described what it will mean to the players to go out in the unique kit: “There’s an immense pride you feel when you pull on the No More Red shirt.
“Having such a special connection with our supporters in our community gives us a real understanding of the people we’re representing and the role we can have as players in raising awareness around issues such as youth crime and violence.
“Their stories give us inspiration which fuels our performances. Our community drives us forward, and we win together.”
