Gabriel Martinelli to Score Anytime (9/4 with bet365)

Arsenal’s Gabriel Martinelli has scored five goals in his last five Premier League games against Crystal Palace. Martinelli found the net in the 4-0 win over Ipswich on Sunday and scored a key goal at the Bernabeu in Arsenal’s 2-1 win that saw them advance to the Champions League semi-finals.  The Brazilian has six goals against the Eagles, his most against any opponent in his career.

Mikel Merino Anytime Assist (11/2 with bet365)

Mikel Merino set up both goals in Arsenal’s victory over Real Madrid last week. The Spaniard then produced a silky flick to tee up Gabriel Martinelli for his side’s second goal of the game against Ipswich on Sunday. Some bookmakers, such as Sky Bet have him priced at just 10/3 to make it four assists in his last three matches, so take the generous offering of 11/2 that is on show with bet365.

How both teams go into Arsenal vs Crystal Palace

The Gunners are unbeaten in their past seven league games, although four of those have been draws. It leaves Arsenal 13 points off top, and they will have to settle for a second-place finish at best. At this point, Arsenal’s eyes will be on a Champions League semi-final first leg., and Mikel Arteta will be wanting to avoid any injuries before the key clash with PSG.

This game has been rescheduled earlier due to Crystal Palace’s involvement in the FA Cup semi-finals. So that will be their full focus, especially with not much to play for in the league. Palace are a bit too far off to join the European football battle in the league, currently 12th, 13 points behind sixth. Palace were five unbeaten in the league before they travelled to Manchester City and Newcastle, where they shipped five goals in each game. They then played out a goalless draw with Bournemouth on Saturday, however they were reduced to ten men, making it three red cards in their last five.

Arsenal team news

Gabriel, Kai Havertz, Gabriel Jesus and Takehiro Tomiyasu are all out for the season. Riccardo Calafiori could be back in time for this game, but will be assessed as the weeks go on.

Crystal Palace team news

Cheick Doucoure and Chadi Riad are long-term absentees for Crystal Palace. Maxence Lacroix should have passed concussion protocol by the time this game comes around.
