The defender was also the captain of the side in the initial matches of the UEFA Europa League this season. Moreover, the defender has made 0.81 tackles and 1.07 interceptions for every 90 minutes he was on the pitch.

Arsenal currently don’t need a centre-back, and so I find this interest quite surprising. Unless William Saliba or someone else from the backline leaves, this deal does not look feasible.
