Victor Osimhen’s transfer saga was one of the big stories last summer, with Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain reportedly competing for the Nigerian striker.
After rediscovering the form that made him a standout in the 2022-23 season, this time at Galatasaray, he’s now set to attract even more interest from Europe’s top clubs next year.
Following a failed move away from Napoli, the 25-year-old joined Galatasaray on loan and has been in excellent form. In just 15 appearances this season, he has scored 12 goals and provided five assists.
TBR Football’s chief correspondent, Graeme Bailey, reported on Tuesday that intermediaries have approached Manchester United with the chance to sign Osimhen.
Manchester United’s footballing department, led by Jason Wilcox, is reportedly exploring their options. However, the club is not yet ready to commit to a direct £60 million deal. The report also mentions that Napoli could accept a player in exchange for the striker.

Football Insider reported on Friday, citing sources, that Arsenal are keeping tabs on Osimhen for a potential January move as they aim for a high-profile deal.
The report adds that many top clubs will monitor the 25-year-old in case there’s an opportunity to secure him at a lower price during the upcoming transfer window.
However, the outlet cautions that Arsenal would likely need to “break the bank” to sign the Nigeria international, and it’s unclear whether the club will be willing to do so in January.
