Gunners face their trickiest test of their final three games

Mikel Arteta has named the same starting lineup for the third match in a row as Arsenal take the short trip to West Ham this afternoon.

The Gunners are three wins away from securing the Premier League title but the London Stadium visit is a trickier test than some expect, with West Ham battling to avoid relegation.

Arteta has stuck with the same team that started wins against Fulham and Atletico Madrid, which means captain Martin Odegaard and Kai Havertz must wait to come back into the side.

Viktor Gyokeres has put together his best form of the season and that is enough for him to keep his place and he will be supported by the attacking trio of Bukayo Saka, Eberechi Eze and Leandro Trossard.

Myles Lewis-Skelly has been superb since getting his opportunities in midfield and is selected ahead of Martin Zubimendi, while Riccardo Calafiori continues at left-back despite Piero Hincapie impressing off the bench against Atletico Madrid.

Arteta confirmed that Mikel Merino and Jurrien Timber both remain unavailable for the clash with West Ham.

It remains uncertain whether the pair will play again for Arsenal this season.

"I don't know, there's still a fair bit to do so everything has to be so smooth and quick if they want to have a chance to play any minutes," Arteta said.
