On Saturday night, French-Algerian Maghnes Akliouche sent a clear message about his future.

Speaking to the press after AS Monaco's 3-1 victory over Le Havre on the opening day of Ligue 1, Maghnes Akliouche decided to clarify his intentions. The Algerian midfielder, who has been on the radar of several European clubs since the start of the transfer window, was unequivocal.
"I'm here, at Monaco," he declared on Ligue 1+. With this statement, Maghnes Akliouche confirms his commitment to staying loyal to the Principality. A summer departure now appears off the table.
